............................................ the Outer Borough Lamp is a new modular, floor-lamp hand-crafted in Brooklyn, New York by a dentist and architect. This modern arc lamp reimagines the classic Italian Arco masterpiece with a vernacular Brooklyn material palette of cast concrete and steam-bent wood. The form of the OBL follows its function with the engineered low center of gravity in its geometric base and the double-leaf wooden arm designed to behave like a curving Vierendeel truss. The modern design of the OBL is perfect for enthusiasts and interior designers seeking a sustainable artisan-quality statement piece that celebrates the beauty of authentic materials with minimalist architectural form.
